You've got questions, we've got answers!


What are your check-in/out times?
Generally, check-in: 3pm & check-out: 11am . However, we’re happy to tailor these times to your trip schedule.  

How many people can stay in a room?
All rooms can comfortably sleep 2 adults and 1 child or variations thereof (max 2 adults per room). We’re happy to help accommodate larger families - call to arrange.  Lodge can accommodate a total of 8-16 adults.

Are children welcome? 
Absolutely!

Can I bring my pet?
As we are a newly renovated facility, we do not currently accept pets.  At a future date, we plan to make kennels available. 

Do you have WiFi?
Yes!  We have WiFi access in both our tavern and lodge buildings.

Do you require a deposit? 
A 50% deposit is required for lodging and angling - please see our website for deposit policy details. 

Do you take credit cards?
Yes!  We take all major credit cards at no additional charge to you.

What’s your fishing season?  
We’re lucky to be able to fish the Missouri most of the year, but the main season is between March and October.

Are non-anglers welcome?
Absolutely!  Enjoy the wildlife, scenery and rich history of the area and learn about angling during your stay.

Are outside outfitters and guides welcome?
Yes!  Not only are they welcome, they enjoy the same privileges and services as our in-house outfitters. Please contact us for details on our outfitter programs.

What equipment do I need to bring for fishing?
If you are fishing with our in-house outfitter all of your basic equipment (rod/reel/boat/etc.) will be provided as a part of your package.  You are always welcome to bring your own equipment, and should bring weather appropriate clothing.  Beginners have a great time just bringing themselves, while our more experienced fishermen often prefer to bring all their own equipment. 

Can I dine in with you if I'm not staying overnight? 

Yes! Reservations, for limited seating, are taken year round for our angler's table, discovery and clinic dinners - email uplandanglerlodge@gmail.com. We can also arrange transportation to and from Great Falls or Helena area for groups of 6 to 9 people. 

Can I just drop in for a drink or meal?
No. We are a small private lodge, dining and event facility. Due to our limited seating, we require reservations. We welcome you to join our anglers table or our discovery or clinic dinners. Please email us at uplandanglerlodge@gmail.com to request your reservations.

Do you host special events? 

Yes!  We plan special events ourselves throughout the year such as fly fishing dinners, holiday brunches, game day gatherings, and concerts. Some restrictions apply.

Can I rent the facility for my own special event? 
Yes!  You can rent all or part of the facility for your event.  Give us a call to start planning your event today! Some restrictions apply.

Can I bring my own alcohol? 

No.  We have a full beverage license and stock a variety of quality reasonably priced beer, wine and spirits. 

Can you accommodate guests with Celiac disease, gluten intolerance, other dietary restrictions?
Yes!  We are familiar with a number of dietary restrictions/cross contamination concerns, and are happy to accommodate your needs to the best of our ability.  As we have a chef’s choice menu, we require that you call ahead of your visit to discuss any needed alterations.

How do I find out about events, such as discovery or clinic dinners?

Do I have to stay overnight to rent the facility?
No.
