FAQ's - Restaurant & Lodge

You've got questions, we've got answers!


What are your check-in/out times?
Generally, check-in: 3pm & check-out: 11am . However, we’re happy to tailor these times to your trip schedule.  

How many people can stay in a room?
All rooms can comfortably sleep 2 adults and 1 child or variations thereof (max 2 adults per room). We’re happy to help accommodate larger families - call to arrange.  Lodge can accommodate a total of 8-16 adults.

Are children welcome? 

Can I bring my pet?
As we are a newly renovated facility, we do not currently accept pets.  At a future date, we plan to make kennels available. 

Do you have WiFi?
Yes!  We have WiFi access in both our tavern and lodge buildings.

Do you require a deposit? 
A 50% deposit is required for lodging and angling - please see our website for deposit policy details. 

Do you take credit cards?
Yes!  We take all major credit cards at no additional charge to you.

What’s your fishing season?  
We’re lucky to be able to fish the Missouri most of the year, but the main season is between March and October.

Are non-anglers welcome?
Absolutely!  Stay with us (contact us about our “romantic getaway” and “stay and play” packages), dine or attend one of our special events! 

Are outside outfitters and guides welcome?
Yes!  Not only are they welcome, they enjoy the same privileges and services as our in-house outfitters.

What equipment do I need to bring for fishing?
If you are fishing with our in-house outfitter all of your basic equipment (rod/reel/boat/etc.) will be provided as a part of your package.  You are always welcome to bring your own equipment, and should bring weather appropriate clothing.  Beginners have a great time just bringing themselves, while our more experienced fishermen often prefer to bring all their own equipment. 

Do I have to have an outfitter or use yours in order to stay at the lodge?
No. We welcome everyone from the avid sportsmen to the recreational enthusiast to those simply looking to relax with personal service, fine dining and amazing views.


Do I need reservations for the restaurant?
Due to our intimate space we request reservations during hours of operation. We send out notifications for all of our dinners and special events. We’re happy to have you call to see if we have space!

Are you open for dinner? 
Yes! Reservations are taken year round - call (406) 468 - 0080  or email We can also arrange transportation to and from Great Falls or Helena for groups of up to 9 people. 

Are you a public bar?
As we are a private lodge, dining and event facility, we require reservations so we may best serve you.  We’ll be happy to include you on our email notification list for dinners and special events; or feel free to call and see what our chef’s got cooking!

Do you host special events?
Yes!  We hold special events ourselves throughout the year such as jazz brunches, game day buffets, and concerts. 

Can I rent the facility for my own special event? 
Yes!  You can rent all or part of the facility for your event.  Give us a call to start planning your party, wedding, retreat, reunion or other event today!

Do I have to stay overnight in order to rent the facility?

Do I need a membership to dine or stay with you?
Day membership is granted with your reservation. 

Can I bring my own alcohol?
No.  We have a full beverage license and stock a variety of quality reasonably priced beer, wine and spirits. 

Can you accommodate guests with Celiac disease, gluten intolerance, other dietary restrictions?
Yes!  We are familiar with a number of dietary restrictions/cross contamination concerns, and are happy to accommodate your needs.  As we have a chef’s choice menu, we require that you call ahead of your visit to discuss any needed alterations.
